Assessment by direct observation of simulations or practical exercises.
Certification & Accreditation
On successful completion of the training, delegates will receive a JOIFF Certificate of Competence Learning Outcomes
The learning outcomes are:
• Utilise best working practices and procedures
• Search and rescue – casualty handling
• Selection and use of portable fire equipment including foam-making branches and in-line inductors
• Conducting and controlling breathing apparatus operations
• Maintaining communications
• Preparation to enter the incident area
• Gaining access to the incident area
• Practise techniques employed in firefighting operations
Skills
Ensuring your fire and rescue response teams have the skills and confidence to respond effectively. Designing,
delivering and assuring theoretical, and practical.
Working with the wider Serco capability to give you help where and when you need it, with fire service apprenticeships, emergency planning, and leadership development.
